Outline of your Stress- & Burnout coaching

A Stress & Burn-out Coaching typically consists of 8 -12 conversations of 1 - 2 hours . We adjust the exact frequency and duration of the conversations to how much energy you have, your availability, etc.  If you want to maximize the impact of your coaching you will receive free home assignments to prepare out conversations or to experiment with in between our conversation. By Whatsapp you can occasionally ask me questions, share things, etc. 

The trajectory has 4 steps:

Step 1 Intake conversation + proposal

Every trajectory starts with an online conversation that you can book here . In 30 to 90 minutes we look at what you want to work on and how we match. Afterwards, I send you a tailor-made coaching proposal based on your goals, availability, etc.

 

​​​​Step 2: Re-charge your battery

If you are low in energy, we will first check very practically at how you can recharge your battery. We look at your sleep, exercise, nutrition, options for relaxation, etc. If your energy is still fine, we skip this step.

​​​Step 3: Dealing with stress

We analyze what gives you stress and what you want to work on directly. We attack such sources of stress with John Whitmore's GROW model. For example: how can you say NO more often to your colleagues? How could you improve the communication with your boss or partner? How could you delegate more stress-full and time-consuming tasks to others? 

Some sources of stress, however, are outside of your control. There is nothing you can do about the pandemic that turned our society upside-down.  You learn to accept such sources of stress and to see them in a different light. We apply effective techniques such as RET (Rational Emotive Training) and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Training). 

Stap 4:  Back to work!

After the steps above, you have gained more energy and have a better control over your stress. It's time to go back to work. I support you in making a successful plan to do this step by step. We see each other less frequently but keep a finger on the pulls to successfully finalize that process. 

Reinforce your balance structurally

It is important to structurally deal with stuff that could lead to another burnout. For some people burnout is connected with their excessive perfectionism. You put unrealistically high demands on yourself which obviously gives you a lot of stress. With Development-oriented Coaching on Perfectionism (DCP) you can tame your perfectionism and structurally improve your Work-Life Balance.
